| The
thumbnails above depict the step-by-step
progress of the Vega Sky Centers "SAO 10" 'Gary Barabino' Newtonian Reflector's
cradle. The cradle was constructed from 3/4" thick 9-layer Birch
plywood. When cutting this stuff, please use a very sharp blade to
reduce splintering. To joint each of the pieces, I used quality wood
glue and drywall screws. The screw heads were recessed in order to apply
waterproof wood filler, or you can use wood plugs. To begin your journal through the construction
