This is a photo of the
separated crown (right) and flint (left) elements ready to be shipped
to Jeff Decker at Majestic Coatings in Clark, NJ for anti-reflective
coated with Magnesium Fluoride (MGF2). Both elements were shipped to
me from Surplus Shed in pristine condition. Fred at SS also performed
a Ronchi test that guaranteed that I would receive and good set of
optics. Once the objective comes back from Majestic, I will be spacing
the elements with six small evenly spaced tabs of aluminum tape. Now
off they go to Majestic Optical Coatings! |
