Once the 2.175" inch circular section for the CG-5 EQ head was cut out from the panhead's top layer, their adjoining surfaces of all three layers were moistened with water and smeared with polyurethane adhesive. The sections were then clamped as pictured above and left to cure for 24 hours. Note that I used scrapes to aid in protecting and providing even pressure over the entire piece.
