Once the main tube was cut to size, jagged burrs were left by the hacksaw and had to be filed smooth. To do the job, I used a series of small files with flat and rounded surfaces rather than large ones, which can be quite aggressive. The small produced a well generated precision edge that only required light sanding with 220-grit sandpaper.
