Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - The Dew Shield (cutting groove around card stock -1)

In similar fashion, as with the main tube, I wrapped the Dew Shield with card stock forming a precision perpendicular straight-edge used as a guide for the cutting of the groove around the circumference of the tube with a hacksaw. The dew shield will be cut to proper length from 6061-T6 aluminum tubing. In the end, the dew shield's dimensions will be 8" OD with a wall thickness of .083" and 12.5" L.
