Using a 600-grit Scotch-Brite pad, perfectly formed a really nice matte finish on the focuser backplate to which the spray-on primer can be applied. When I was donesanding with the Scotch-Brite, I wipe away the aluminum dust residue with a shop towel saturated with 91% isopropyl alcohol.
