RA and DEC Axis's Braking Systems - Completely Assembled RA Axis Brake

The completed Right Ascension Braking System is shown above ready for sanding and varnishing. The edges will be slightly rounded for a more finished look. Upon clicking on the above image to enlarge, you will see two centrally placed holes at each end. The holes have been drilled through both the teak header and oak sides for insertion of the adjustment screw and spring units used to administer tension to the 2" aluminum RA Axis.
