The
four pieces of plywood above will add additional thickness, strength,
and support to each end of the right and left side support arms. The top
two pieces with the rounded tops will be used to attached the
declination axis hanger bearings (inside and out on each tine) providing
strong support of the 5/8" shafts. A bit of overkill if I may add. The precision ground 5/8"
shafts will be inserted into the motor arbors connected to the sides of
the cradle. The bottom left and right panels will sandwich the fork arms
between them and the RA Axis Box.
