OTA Finishing and Assembly - Telescope Tube End Rings

Though a bit pricey, I took the plunge and bought a pair of End Rings from University Optics, Inc.. In ordering these rings I had to precisely measure and provide the exact tube outside diameter to the good folks of UO. They are made from lightly brushed stainless steel stripes about 1.5" in width and .050" thick. BE CAREFUL when you handle these rings - they have very sharp edges. I used my Dremel® tool to dull the edges.
