After drilling 5/16" inch holes, and giving the hinge plates a brushed finish by sliding them over 220-grit sand paper long ways, several coats of RustoleumŽ clear coat spray paint was applied and allowed to cure and outgas for over a week. The hinge plates are now finished and ready for assembly onto the cradle rings.
