To bring the images from
the Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" refractor to a point, I will be using a
modified GSO 2" Crayford focuser. Modified, meaning that I took the
draw tube from a Meade 80" APO focuser (which is was long) and replace
the shorter one that came with the GSO. This will help by providing
additional back-focus for astrophotography. The GSO is a smooth
operating 10:1 dual-speed model that is of great build quality. This
is a front view of the unit. It also comes with a 1.25" adapter. |
