The recess has been cut in the "outside main leg support" to received the T-Nut... (Click for enlarged view)

 
Using a 1.250" forstner bit, I drilled a shallow recess that will allow the the T-Nut to sit flush with the inside surface of the "outside main leg support" so that the "adjustable center leg can slide freely. Time to drill out the center of the recess to install the T-Nut.
