Careful
placement of the hanger bearings on both the front and rear panels is a must.
In the above photo we see one of the two bearings centered in reference to
the outer edges of the front section. This process is repeated for the rear
side as well. After the bearing is centered, we pencil trace the bearing
mounting holes onto the front and rear sections, then a 1/2" hole is
drilled in the center of each tracing to facilitate the bearing. The
mounting holes in the bearings are 5/8" inside diameter. They
will require hollow shims that have an inside diameter of 1/2" and
an outside diameter of 5/8" and will be used to center the mounting
bolts to prevent the bearing from shifting.
