Well, here are the teak wood DEC Axis Braking System Teflon Pivoting Arms before I give up on these little guys and go with aluminum, here is a look at them. As previously mentioned, these components will be used in applying pressure to the left and right declination shafts. Currently, they are in use and are doing quite well. But, if I have to apply more force with the tension adjustment screws, they could split. Note the hole in the arm just below the virgin Teflon pad.
