is a splendid view of the mounted Jim's Mobile, Inc. Reverse Crayford
Focus as taken from the business end of the tube. The design is unique
in the industry, but provides rock solid performance. This 2"
focuser unit has a 1.25" eyepiece adapter threaded for T-Rings. I
also purchased a back plate from JMI to help in supporting the focuser
against the tube for easier more precise aligning via the four hex head
adjustment screws. Checking out the close-up view you will see that
the light blue haze over the upward facing surfaces of the focuser is
actually Sail Blue enamel over spray from the tube painting process.
This haze was easily removed using 91% isopropyl alcohol. This gives
good reason why you should wear a dust mask while using spray paint.
Also to cover and protect surrounding surfaces. :B
