OTA Finishing and Assembly - Mounted Kenneth Novak Spider Vane

Click for Enlarged View
This is a front end "down-the-tube" view of the inside of the 12.250" OD tube. Using the brackets shown earlier, the Spider Vane has been attached ruggedly to the inside of the tube. An offset of .10" of the "spider/ secondary" assembly will be instilled to capture the entire cone of light coming from the primary for the brightest illuminated field possible.

Quite dusty here in the photo above, the tube's insides will be meticulously vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned after I shear off the ends of the screws holding the external components with my Dremel® tool. Then, the Secondary/ Diagonal Holder will be installed.
