The same
flocking process using ProtoStar® flocking material was done the
same for the objective end of the main tube as the focuser end. With
the lens of my camera focused on the flocking material, you can
easily make out the individual four sections attached to the main
tubes interior. Believe me, without the flash it is pretty dark in
there! Well the flocking is done for the 127mm f/9.4 "Brigadier
General Richard Pierce" refractor. But, I have one more shot of the
inside of the main tube to show you on the next page.
