Here is
the final shot of the 127mm f/9.4 refractors flocked main tube. This
time with the baffles in focus. Well there are areas on the baffles
that appear to be shiny, but the flash from my camera caused this
effect. Essentially, this puppy is dark on the inside. You can also
easily make out the four sections of ProtoStar® flocking material
that covers the front end of the tube. This stuff is going to react
like a black hole in absorbing stray and extraneous light. The tube
be stored in a box while I work on finishing the dew shield, which
is next in the coverage of the 127mm f/9.4 OTA Construction.
