Using the simple formula
shown in the photo above, I determined the proper size dimensions to
cut the Mylar backed ProtoStar flocking material. To find the
interior circumference of the main tube, I took the 4" inch outside
diameter and subtracted the wall thickness time two and reached a
sum of 3.834" or 97.38mm. Then I multiplied these results times
phi (3.14), which gave me 12.04" or 305.7mm, respectively for the
circumference value. This will fit the tube perfectly with the ends of the
flocking material butting together seamlessly. Now let's prep it for
receiving the baffle rack. |
