Carton 100mm f/13 "MD" OTA Construction - Preparing the Main Tube - Primed Tube Buffed
 

Light sanding and vacuuming to primed main tube before painting. (Click to see an enlarged image)

 
After several coats of primer were applied to the main tube, light buffing with a ScotchBriteŽ pad was done remove the gritty surface in preparation for paint Vega blue. I also used my Shop Vac to vacuum up the residue. Turned out great, but I wish that I would have used Rustoleum metal primer. No worries though. Now let's get some coats of paint on this puppy.
