Carton 100mm f/13 "MD" OTA Construction - Preparing the Rear Cell - Primed

Primed rear objective cell. (Click to see an enlarged image)

Interior light train exposed surfaces of the custom rear cell (fabricated by Brian Choin) were primed in preparation for flocking with KrylonŽ Camouflage Ultra-Flat Black spray enamel. Areas not needing to be painted were covered in painters tape; including the screw holes. One area was the external transition area of the rear cell. I was considering painting over the transition area between the main tube and dew shield, but wanted to show off Brian's great workmanship in milling the rear cell, So, once the scope has been assembled, I believe it is going to make the overall instrument look great.
