The finishing of the cradle ring signified the completion of the VSC/ SAO Carton 100mm f/13 "Mary Dawson" refractor. Here is a close-up shot of it sitting atop a CG5 EQ carried by the VSC/ SAO North Star II field tripod I constructed back in the middle of 2009. Now let's take a copy more photos.
