127mm f/9.4 OTA Construction - Focuser (test fit of focuser flange)

My next step was to test fit the focuser to the main tube. Well, as fate would have it, the focuser housing did not fit. Its flange was too small to fit the outside of the main tube. But I noticed that if I were to grind away some of the outside of the flange it would fit inside of the main tube. Yeah!... That's the ticket !!! So, that was the route I took.
