With the diameter of the flange reduced in size, it fits like a glove... (Click for enlarged view)

 

The Meade 127ED focuser flange now fits into the inside diameter of the main tube perfectly, as seen in the image above! It took nearly two hours to slowly an meticulously rotate the flange in the jig to produce a smooth even finish. With this task done, it is now time to reassemble the focuser.
