UA side view of the focuser really shows off its profile. The draw tube is over 7" inches long and renders a little over 6" inches of travel. Not the locking set screw on the top of the focuser. It applies pressure to the suspended internal aluminum guide bar to lock it in place during those astrophotography sessions.
