An inside look at the Meade 2.7" inch rack and pinion focuser showing off the interior of its multi-baffled draw tube. My next move will be to drill and tap three 1/4"-20 threaded holes in the flange side, followed by centering it in the main tube using a laser collimator. This will be covered a little later.
