Sitting
atop my folding workbench the main tube with paper target, focuser
and laser collimation are in position to begin alignment of the
focuser.
With the
focuser snugly positioned inside the tube and the drawtube
fully racked out, we are ready to fire up the securely mounted laser
collimator to see where the beam will strike initially. Well, it did
not hit the center of the target. So adjustments to the focuser had
to be made. The focuser was methodically shifted up, down , left,
and right until the laser beam struck somewhere within the center
portion of the target.
