127mm f/9.4 OTA Construction - OTA Alignment (laser aligned with target!)

With the laser mounted in the focuser and adjusted, the laser beam struck very closed to center... (Click for enlarged view)

With everything in place, the focuser mounted laser collimator was fired up. The beam did not hit the target upon activation, so adjustment of the focuser had to be done. This meant that I had to tip the focuser up, down, left and right within the main tube to get the beam to get as close to the target's center as possible. Note the red laser dot near the center of the target's bulls eye. This alignment is close enough.
