Once the main tube was properly prepped, RustoleumŽ white metal primer was sprayed over the exterior of the tube and allowed to cure for 24 hours. Two coats of the primer were applied. During the curing time, the main tube was rotated periodically  to allow for even distribution of the primer. This step will also performed after painting.
