Fork Mount Base Construction - Dowel-Nuts for attaching the Base and Arms

This is a photo of one of the Dowel-Nuts that will be used to attach the Truss Arms to the Base Platform assembly. They will pull these two sections together to form a strong perpendicular union. In addition, they will be strategically located under the RA Axis Support Housing to provide sufficient holding power to eliminate separation of the two sections once the telescope is fully constructed and assembled.
