Sonotube - Cured Epoxy and Sanded - An Even Closer View

Now you can really see the imperfections. The dull grayish areas show where the sanding disk made direct contact with the dried epoxy. The shinier areas are shallow depressions untouched by the sander. DO NOT BE ALARMED !!! The entire tube is evenly covered by these little impressions. They actually will deliver a unique uniform texture upon final painting. I think these features are a better alternative to the spiral line indicative of a less refined finished Sonotube.
