Finally, we can now move on to prepping the main tube for priming and painting, now that the baffles and flocking have been installed. I know... I know... I should have painted the main tube first before finishing the flocking. Actually, that was my intention, but once I inserted the flocking material and baffle rack assembly into the main tube, it was too snug to remove. That is how we got to the photo above. So to compensate I made a cap from cardboard and painters tape to cover and protect the GSO Crayford focuser adapter from overspray once while the main tube is being painted. the other end was addressed too, as you will see on the next page.
