The
objective is flipped over to show its back portion where it will be
attached to the 5" OD aluminum tube. The color of the exposed areas
of the objective's cell is grayish-green in appearance. This is NOT
the color it will remain. I will change it to gloss black where it
matters most; around the exposed transition rim, between the main
tube and dew shield. Looking down through the back end of the cell,
you can see a hole in the side wall. This is one the tube mounting
holes. There are three holes for this purpose.
