127mm f/9.4 OTA Construction - OTA Alignment (laser aligned close-up!)

This close-up shows the location of the laser beam after alignment was set. I know it is not perfect, but it is adequate. it is off by only 1/4" of an inch. With the focuser aligned to the tube, I marked the position of the holes to be drilled on the focuser's flange using the holes in the main tube as a template.

Now, all I have to do is remove the focuser, drill and tap the marked hole positions in the focuser's flange and mount it to the main tube once it has been finished. if you have any questions regarding these proceures,please feel free to contact me at:
