127mm f/9.4 OTA Construction - OTA Alignment (focuser mounting holes)

To mount the Meade 2.7" rack and pinion focuser to the main tube, I used 1/4"-20 x 3/8" inch stainless steel oval-head bolts as mentioned earlier in this overview. Note the beveled edge of the hole in the main tube that coincides with that of the bolt to the left of it. This type of bolt will render the focuser immovable once all three of them have been locked down.
