Carton 100mm f/13 "MD" OTA Construction - Reaming of the Rear Cell to Test Fit to Main Tube

When Brian Choin fabricated the rear cell for the Carton 100mm f/13 "Mary Dawson" refractor, I forgot to tell him to increase the inside diameter of the end that will fit over the main tube to a few hundreds of an inch over its outside diameter. By not telling him to make the opening just over 4", it did not fit. It was too exact to allow the main tube to fit. That meant that I had to remove more material myself. I could have shipped it back to Brian to make the adjustment, but I only had to remove less than a millimeter layer from around the interior circumference of the rear cell. I figure I could accomplish this using my 8" drill press equipped with a sanding drum. So taking the initiative, I took on the task. The method I used, though crude, worked exceptionally well. By going against the spin of the sanding drum in a steady and uniform manner, I slowly rotated rear cell to grin away the opening. Periodically checking for fit to the main tube. It eventually got there.
