127mm f/9.4 OTA Construction - OTA Installing CD Knife-Edge Baffles (front of first baffle 3)

First baffle caulked into place... (Click for enlarged view)

After allowing the tack spots to cure a bit, the baffle was caulked into place with silicon-latex caulking. At this point I was starting to get over anxious and did not allow the caulking to fully cure before proceeding with the rest of the baffling process. As you note going forward, my steps look a messy, but in the end everything work out fine. If I would have done the baffling process in its proper amount of time, it would taken over a week to complete. Most of the time of which would have been spent waiting for paint and caulking to cure.

Now that the first baffle was in place, it was time to apply the metal primer.
