Here
we have six carefully cut 2 x 2 inch pieces of longleaf pine posts
that will become the fork mount's Base Platform Chassis. I know what
you are thinking, but these pieces of wood are a hard variety of pine
that save you quite a bit on cost compared to higher grade varieties
such as oak, or ash. Actually, I purchased the wood from Home Depot at
$1.99 for each 4 foot length piece. I had to search through the pile
of posts to find straight boards, because many of these posts were
warped - hence the cheap price. Click the purple arrow that points
