here is additional hardware used in the construction of the Fork Mount
Base. We have here a 12" aluminum continuous hinge to mount the
Accessory Compartment Door to the Accessory Compartment Door Divider, and casters to
render mobility of the
scope. Please keep in mind that casters with ample support strength is a
must. My initial set of casters relinquished their ball bearings
when I performed an initial mobility test. So, it is imperative that
good strong casters are used. I replaced the weak casters with heavy
duty ones that incorporate 2 inch neoprene wheels to maneuver the
massive unit.
We
are now ready to move on to the construction steps of the SAO 10 inch
Fork Mounted Newtonian reflector. Click the right facing arrow to go to
